Nuvali x Fete

I recently posted a photo of my friends and I during that Nuvali road trip we had last weekend (23 June 2012, a Saturday) but I wasn't really able to blog about the experience so here goes.

One of the best things about the entire trip was the awesome company. We did silly things, took lots of photos.. in short, we had loads of fun! I rode with Karla together with Bruce, Cody and Deo; while Ruther had Judd, Paul, Willar and Japoy with him in the car.

Yours truly. My new tattoo is peeking through my old flannel button-down. It used to have long sleeves but I thought that it would be better off as a vest so I cut those off. That was roughly two years ago. Now it's one of my favorite go-to shirts.

Willar of Salad Day.

Obligatory Karla-and-Anne shot.

Skinny Paulo Deoferio.

We decided to go on a ten-minute boat ride that costs Php30 for every person. At first I didn't want to but I also don't want to be called a kill-joy. Besides, it's not every day that I get to ride a freaking boat!

Judd and Willar.

Sweet couple, Willar and Japoy!

Group shot! We decided to spice it up a little bit by posing a-la Crystal Castles. We love them.

We hung out for a bit on the open grounds near the restaurants (I don't know what the place was called exactly), played an old game called "Shake, Shake Shampoo" and blew bubbles. Although I must say that I did not run around with them because I'm kind of an asthmatic.

Once we got tired, we decided to have dinner. Didn't eat much because I only had P90 left in my wallet (I gave all of it as a contribution). Hope I had more money though!
Judd and Paul trading shoes. Paul was wearing these crazy "elevator" shoes as my mom would refer to them.

After our Nuvali trip, we attended to the annual Fete de la Musique. The rock stage was in B-Side so that's where we went first. It was so hot and humid so after a few hours, Karla and I decided to go to the main stage which was located in Makati Ave. Didn't stay for long - hell, we didn't even park! There were so many people so we just went to Mercato where we ended our adventure.

All in all, it was a great day - very well-spent, too! I hope we can do this again, soon. And I also hope that when that day comes, I'll have more $$$ with me. ;)

June Faves

They say that there's a first for everything, and this is mine. My first ever "Favorite" post. These are some of the items that I have semi-obsessed over the past month.

Tortoise-shell Wayfarer Glasses
A really good accessory for my outfits these past few days. During summer, I drowned myself in denim cutoffs, loose-fitting V-Necks and sneakers. For June, I decided to spice things up a little with my (still) loose tank tops, plaid shirts matched with jeans / leggings since I always have to do school errands and commuting in shorts aren't really my cup of tea.

Sea-Foam Green and Lavender Nail Lacquer from The Face Shop
I've had the sea-foam green polish for quite some time now and been obsessed with them since the day that I purchased them (Probably around 2010). The lavender one is Karla's. The Face Shop has got to be my favorite place to buy nail polish from because the consistency doesn't really thicken quickly.

My nails at the moment.

Lime Crime Lipstick in Retro Futurist, H&M Lip Gloss in Summer Pink, Maybelline Lip Balm, and The Face Shop Lipstick

Victoria's Secret Make Up Set; complete with eye shadows, lipsticks, lip gloss, mascara, blusher, bronzer, high lighter, translucent powder, eye liner and lip liner.
Now how can I not love this? My friend got it for me when he was finishing up with his OJT in Dubai. This came with my current favorite bag, a New Look Zipper Satchel (wasn't able to take a photo of it, next time I most definitely will) which was his birthday present for me.

Black Vans Authentics, Keds Hi-Top Champions, Blue Vans Authentics
You've probably gotten a glimpse of these in my previous blog entry/ies. They're extremely comfortable, and matches any of my outfits! To be honest, I make sure that my outfit revolves around my sneaker of choice; besides, they're perfect for any sort of weather. Except the Keds, I only get to wear them when it isn't raining.

Changes

A couple of weeks ago, my mom delivered the news that I can finally change the color of my walls from a dark sky blue, to white. Took us an entire week to finish painting but the result was amazing!  I've also made a couple of changes here and there, trying to aim for a minimalist approach - to no avail of course since I have too much stuff in my room. You might also notice the mismatched furnitures... do your best to ignore it. Haha!

Opted for black curtains.
LOL at the vintage cabinet.

I also got rid of the hideous shoe rack and replaced it with this super nifty container that easily slides under the bed.

I also have a clothes rack now in my room for some of my favorite clothes.

The bottom part is where I put my favorite pairs of shoes.

Apart from these things, I changed the framed tile that's hanging on my room's door.

From this.

To this.

So what's next for my room? Well, I was kind of hoping that maybe I can change the flooring. ;)
